Prayer Stick Partners – Prayer Stick Partners are a unique way for remembering that God and our fellow believers are always with us. The Prayer Stick Partners fit in the palm of your hand to hold and give comfort. Each wooden stick contains either a scripture verse and poem or a prayer with the intent to give you that little boost of encouragement when needed. Current scripture verses include:

• Esther 4:14 “And who knows…for such a time as this”
• Prayer of the Caregiver
• Habakkuk 3:18 “Yet, I will rejoice in the Lord…”
• Psalm 46:10 “Be still and know that I am God…"

Poetry Prayer Plaques - The poetry prayer plaques available from HLC are designed to praise God and comfort, inspire and uplift all those who read them.  All of our inspirational plaques contain poems written by Kristina A. Rugh of HLC.  Artwork and engraving are done by a local craftsman.

• The Prayer of the Caregiver is specifically for those who serve as a caregiver.  The hands that touch others shape the world.  An ideal reminder for parents, nurses, doctors, home helpers, and Sunday School teachers of the awesome responsibility God has given them.  Kristina said this prayer almost everyday as she took care of our beloved Aunt Bonnie, who suffered from Acute Mylogeneous Leukemia. 
• For those who answered when called...was the poem written by Kristina as Aunt Bonnie was in her final days of hospice care.  It was written to comfort and remind us that within all stages of life, the presence of the Almighty is with us.

• The Armor of God prayer was written for those who feel overwhelmed and underprepared for any given circumstance.  It reminds us to rely on God to arm us to carry on.

• The Prayer for My Soldier was written to comfort those who are left behind as their loved one is called to duty away from them.  We say it for family and friends who serve our country.
