HLC Tips for Time Management

Make your car a phone/game free zone when traveling with kids, family, and friends.  Use the commute and "taxi" time to talk about the days events, sing your favorite songs, make up an "I Spy" game, and just have fun communicating without electronics.

Do not keep separate calendars for business and personal information.  One centralized calendar will eliminate double-bookings for our time.  It will also help you monitor how you are spending your time in that everything is in one easy location!

When you do your Birthday, Anniversary, Christmas shopping, do you try to spend the same amount on everyone in your family?  You want to be fair and make sure no one feels slighted?  Are you applying this same principle to yourself?  Are you making sure you are giving yourself some of the same time and attention you are giving others?  Spend at least 10 minutes each morning and each evening just doing something that helps out YOU!
